Larry Dean Nichols, 71, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1946, in Polk County to the late Leonard and Gertrude Nichols.
He was a well-known brick layer and owner of Poor Boys Auto Sales, as well as an avid race car fan. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Teresa Dixon and Diane Nichols.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Larry Dale Nichols and Dustin Allen Nichols; daughter, Rose Powell Nichols; six grandchildren' five great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie (Nancy) Nichols and Roy Nichols; sister, Irene (Alvin) Gentry; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at 6 p.m. with a visitation prior to the service from 4 to 6 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, in Cleveland.
