Lee University’s fall U-Church series will welcome KB and Trip Lee on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.

KB, also known as Kevin Burgess, has released a mixtape and three albums. His album, “Tomorrow We Live,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboards Christian Album chart. KB’s passion for hip-hop and his strong faith led him away from his early dream of being an international missionary. Now he does missions through his music.

KB has toured nationally with Tenth Avenue North and Trip Lee and has collaborated with Andy Mineo and Lecrae.

Lee, who has spoken several times for the Lee chapel services, is a rapper and pastor. He has released five albums, including “The Waiting Room” and “20/20,” and authored “Rise: Get Up and Live in God’s Great Story” and “The Good Life.”

Lee’s music has been nominated for several Dove awards and three of his albums have debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Gospel charts. He aims to declare the goodness and glory of Jesus Christ through his writing, teaching and performing.

He has also started Built to Brag, an organization that seeks to engage a young, multicultural audience with biblical truths in powerful ways. Lee currently serves as a pastor at Cornerstone Church in Atlanta, Ga., where he lives with his wife Jessica and their two children.

Both artists are members of the 116 Clique, which is a Christian rap group signed to Reach Records.

U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event open to students, alumni and the community. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is first come, first served.

Childcare is available for all who attend. Contact Anna Anderson at aanderson@leeuniversity.edu for more information on childcare.
