Lynn P. Schwarz

Lynn P. Schwarz

Lynn P. Schwarz, 56, of Ocoee, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at a Chattanooga hospital after a short illness.

She, along with her husband, ran Camp Cherokee and was an active member at First Baptist Church of Cleveland, and enjoyed working in their outdoor ministry. She was a registered nurse and also an emergency wilderness first responder. She was a prayer warrior for the many young people who came to Camp Cherokee. She lived life to the fullest and loved the Lord with all her heart. We rejoice in knowing she is hearing her Savior say, “Well done my good and faithful servant. You have kept the faith and finished the race.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie L. Perry and Elizabeth Wells Perry; and son, Michael L. Schwarz.

Survivors include her husband, Michael G. Schwarz, of Ocoee; daughter, Rebecca E. Williams and husband, Adam, of Dallas, Ga.; two grandchildren, Harrison P. Williams and Elliot R. Williams, both of Dallas; sister, Ann Bozard, and husband, John, of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Steve Perry, and wife, Jody, of Stuart, Fla., and Mark Perry and wife, Taeko, of Swansea, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Cleveland with the Revs. Rusty Asble and Steve Cretin officiating. Blake Allison, Dan Pettit, David Russo, Adam Williams, Garrett Asble and Ridge Asble will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church, prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at Osteen Cemetery in Osteen, Fla. Her family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Sanford, Fla., following the graveside service.

The family requests memorials be made to World Changers, in care of First Baptist Church, P.O. Box, 2368, Cleveland TN 37320.

Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
