Margaret "Bobbie" Burchfield

Margaret “Bobbie” Burchfield, 93, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021.

She was born on June 17, 1927, to the late George Newton and Maggie Lowe Newton.

She lived in Cleveland most of her life and was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She enjoyed fellowshipping with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Burchfield; and sons: Jimmy Burchfield and Charles Burchfield.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Debbie Geren (Richard); and grandchildren: Sandy Parker, Melanie Shelton, Kris Geren, B.J. Burchfield and Robin Mizell; great-grandchildren: Ashley Parker, Aaron Parker, Karlie Shelton, Elizabeth Burchfield, Tyler Withrow, Kenslie Shelton, Trevor Withrow, Jameson Withrow and Natalie Mizell.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at Companion Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Bobbie’s Life will follow at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Burchfield Cemetery in Reliance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association either online act.alz.org or by mail to 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
