Cleveland Mayor Kevin Brooks has tested negative for COVID-19, but has one more test before he’s cleared of the novel coronavirus.

The results came in a Facebook post from Cleveland First Lady Kim Brooks, who said her husband and the city mayor had been admitted to Tennova-Cleveland late Tuesday night with double pneumonia. She reached out over Facebook asking for prayers for Brooks.

She said the mayor’s upcoming test results will be in this evening or early Friday morning, noting it was his eighth test since the beginning of the pandemic.
