REPRESENTATIVES MARINA SEPENUK and Valentina Mantsevich of Just a Bakery brought with them to the Christmas Open House event a masterful example of a gingerbread house: The Lee University Chapel.  In addition to the meticulous gingerbread and frosted detail, the bakers fashioned melted sugar “stained glass” windows for the display.

STUDENTS FROM TENNESSEE Christian Preparatory School sang carols during the Christmas Open House on Sunday at the Museum Center at Five Points.

ONE OF THE EXHIBITING artists at the Artist Showcase portion of the event at the Museum was Mike Ivey, right, of Mike Ivey Art. He was working on a landscape during the show on Sunday.

THERE WERE OVER 30 artists exhibiting at the Artist Showcase on Sunday. There were painters, crochet, authors, and all kinds of arts and crafts to enjoy.

THE SPCA WAS on hand at the Christmas Open House event with plenty of adoptable cats and dogs.  Jessica Taylor holds Donna the cat for a quick photo before showing the feline to some adoring families.
