Nyoka Renea Stone
Nyoka Renea Stone, 56, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at her residence.
She was born in Rushville, Ind., but lived in Polk County for 24 years, and she called it “home.” She loved and enjoyed living by the Ocoee River. She cared for everyone else before herself. She was a member of Benton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Roy.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Robert Edward Stone Jr.; daughter, Angela Michelle Perry; grandson, Malako Ferrer; mother, Carolyn Keaton; sisters: Lisa Shaw, Tonya Roy, Donna Alexander and Yvonne Blackwell; and brothers: Kenny (Jennifer) Blackwell, Tim Blackwell, Michael (Rita) Blackwell and Darryl (Kay) Blackwell.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Whaley officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, in Etowah.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
