Making their seventh annual baseball trip, a group of old friends headed north over the weekend.
Former local coaches Dave Altopp, John Dixon, David Chaffin, Charlie Cogdill, Donnie Yates and Tim Rader have been to 24 Major League Baseball parks in the last seven years.
This year's annual trek took them to Camden Yards Saturday to catch Baltimore Orioles hosting the Boston Red Sox, with a game-time of 101 degrees.
Things cooled to 99 degrees Sunday as they were at Yankee Stadium in New York to watch the guys in pinstripes take on the Colorado Rockies.
Today the group will be visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, where Major League Baseball held its annual enshrinement yesterday with unanimous choice Mariano Rivera heading the 2019 Class.
On Tuesday, they will head north of the border to visit Niagara Falls and enjoy the "Maid of the Mist" voyage before attending their last baseball game of the trip in Toronto, Canada, as the Blue Jays host the Cleveland Indians.
