BENTON — USDA Forest Service officials at the Cherokee National Forest say that Parksville Recreational Vehicle Campground in the Ocoee Ranger District is temporarily closed, while work to repair the water system is underway. Repair work could take from seven to 10 days.

Parksville RV Campground is located off State Highway 30, in Polk County.  It offers 16 camping sites.  Other national forest campgrounds in the area remain closed, per normal winter seasonal closures.

For additional information, contact the Ocoee Ranger District at 423-338-3300.
