The local MainStreet Cruise-In will be held Saturday, July 28, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Downtown streets surrounding the Courthouse Square will be filled as car enthusiasts show off their restored vehicles. All types of cars will be displayed from classics to special interest and current models.

Spectators are invited to view the cars, shop, have dinner in on of the locally owned restaurants, and enjoy food such as funnel cakes, kettle corn and fried apples from the vendors. Music from the 1950s, '60s and '70s will fill the air, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere.

The swap meet is in the parking lot on Broad Street, south of Inman Street. Spaces are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Cruise-In is free to enter a vehicle and free to spectators. It continues the fourth Saturday of each month through October. Anyone interested in joining the MainStreet Cruisers Car Club may contact Randy Howard at 595-2912.

For general information, call the MainStreet office at 479-1000, or visit its website at www.mainstreetcleveland.com.
