TWO FIREMEN from the Bradley County Fire Rescue service are helping flood victims in the Houston area. Along with Commander Ronnie Goss and Lt. Donovan Dicola providing assistance there, two BCFR boats were sent to Texas to assist in moving people from flood areas to higher ground, or to shelters in that city. The BCFR personnel and equipment were first sent to College Station, then to Wharton County, Texas before being escorted by law enforcement to Houston, where they were placed with the Texas Task Force No. 1 and No. 2, and teams from Kansas City. Much of the work done by the BCFR firemen and the equipment sent down is occurring in the Interstate 10 beltway district.
