Sarah E. Varnell, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday,
Aug. 14, 2019. She was born on July 23, 1926.
She was a Christian and a member of Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She often told childhood stories, and enjoyed flowers and gardening as well as shopping. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Baker Sr.; parents, James A. and Anne R. Richeson; as well as four brothers and one sister.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving devoted husband, Edwin Kenneth Varnell; sons: Van Baker, Edward Baker Jr., and Carl “Chip” Baker; daughter, Coye Baker Hadorn; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland.
