If it's the annual Cleveland Country Club Ladies Championship, you can bet whose name is getting inscribed on the trophy once again.

Claiming her 40th CCC Club title, Maggie Scott breezed to her fifth straight crown Thursday.

The Tennessee Professional Golf Association Hall of Famer was the lone player to break 80 in both rounds to post an 11-over-par 155 winning total.

The retired Bradley County school teacher fired an opening round 5-over 77 and then followed it up with a 6-over 78 Thursday.

Scott shot her age (70) in the final round of Ladies City Tournament last month to hold off local collegiate standouts Rheagan Hall (UT-Chattanooga) and Olivia Williams (Carson-Newman) to earn her 39th City title.

Longtime friend and playing partner Linda Mullins, the last player to unseat Scott  by winning the CCC titles in 2013 and '14, claimed the runner-up spot in this week's event, shooting an 82-79 — 161.

Retired local physician Linda Daubner and Becky Young tied for third place in the Championship Flight with 166 tallies. Daubner shot 85-81, while Young was the opposite, firing 81-85.

Cornelia Marcrom was fifth overall and in the top flight at 180.

In the Red Flight action, Beth Harper edged Wanda Evans by just two strokes.

Kathy Dodd finished just a pair of shots behind Evans for third place. Sue Inman took fourth place.

Judy Ozawa ran away with the Orange Flight crown by 10 strokes over Sandy Henry.

Carla Pelfrey and Sue Ogle were just five strokes apart in third and fourth respectively, with Betty Bohannon fifth.
