Sue Snyder Fair
Sue Snyder Fair, 89, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1927, to the late Major J. and Naomi Snyder.
She has been a resident of Cleveland for more than 45 years, after moving here from Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith and an active member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland, especially with the Manna Ministry. She served as vice president of First Citizens Bank for 17 years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Pilot Club.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Sam Fair; and her brother, Fred Snyder.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son, David Fair (Marcia); daughters: Teri Davis (Homer) and Becky Lunsford (Dik); grandchildren: Mandi Colloms, Brent Fair (Anna), and Brooke Smith (Jared); four great-grandchildren; and niece, Vicki Noblett.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at First Baptist, 1275 Stuart Road.
Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at the church at 6 p.m. with Dr. Allan Lockerman and Pastor Steve Morgan officiating. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
