Susan H. Lee
Susan H. “Nanny” Lee, a longtime resident of the Cleveland area, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017.
Born in 1947 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was raised in Pensacola, Fla., and graduated from Pensacola High School.
She enjoyed cooking, relaxing with family and friends, bonfires, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known by many as a prayer-warrior, she possessed a strong faith and was a devout follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Danny Lee, children, David Lee and Tracy Reed; her brother, Bill Hicks of Kansas; her sister, Jana LaBrato of Pensacola, Fla., five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday Dec. 27, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1212 County Road 100, Athens, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m.
