Susan Marie Southworth


Susan Marie Maxwell Southworth, 64, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, in a local hospital. 

She was a member of St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.  She had a love for animals, especially her dogs, and was very artistic.  She loved to social network with friends and family.

She was the daughter of the late Verdon James Maxwell and Grace LeRue McGee, and was also preceded in death by her siblings: Patricia Sperber, Sharon Maxwell and James Maxwell.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Keith Southworth of Cleveland; siblings: Kathleen Murphy (Frank) of Baytown, Texas, Mary Clare Williams (Dana) of McDonald, Laura Blondin of Orlando, Fla., Joanie Maxwell of Orlando and Robert Maxwell of Port Orange, Fla.; god-daughter, Heather Grace Williams; special nephews: Matthew Williams, Christopher Murphy and Shawn Murphy; special niece, Mary Elizabeth Williams; and several other nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, with Father Mike Nolan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
