Tellabration planned for Nov. 11

Posted

Tellabration, an Evening of Storytelling will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at First Presbyterian Church in historic downtown Cleveland.

The Cleveland Storytelling Guild sponsors the annual evening of stories. The fun begins at 7 p.m.

While the admission is free, donations are gladly accepted.

Local and regional tellers will include Caneta Gentry, Steve Daugherty, Pete Vanderpool, Judy Baker, Vicki Hardestry, Owen Duncan and Sara Lord.

Begun in 1988 in Connecticut, Tellabration has grown from the original six locations to include storytelling on every continent except Antarctica.

Traditionally held in November, stories will be shared in schools, libraries, colleges, museums, churches and many other venues.  The National Storytelling Network serves as a partner to producers and a clearinghouse for information about Tellabration in particular and storytelling in general.

These talented storytellers will be sharing some of their best stories in this family friendly event.
