Participating newspapers across Tennessee this week are delivering a common message to their readers and communities: that being, "When You're on Your Own, We Are There With You."
Featuring a front-page editorial unique to each community and surrounding areas, newspapers are committing their combined support — through the free flow of public information — to aid in slowing down, and eventually stopping, the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Daily publications launched the unified show of support today in their Monday editions. Others, including the Cleveland Daily Banner, will publish our declaration of support in the Tuesday print edition. Weekly newspapers will do so on their traditional day of publication.
Working in partnership with Gov. Bill Lee, Tennessee newspapers are doing their part in returning our communities, our state and our nation to a life of normalcy.
Always remember: We're all in this together.
