Vera Mae Roberson Tinsley, 91, of Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at Garden Plaza.
She attended Henegar Baptist Church for as long as her health allowed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Tinsley; parents, Ernest and Pauline Roberson; and sisters: Carzell Payne and Thelma Casada.
She is survived by her niece, Ann Officer and husband, Gene, of Cleveland; nephews: Austin Payne and wife, Martha, of Lenoir City, and Phil Lea of Cleveland; great-nieces: Julie Wilson and husband, Dewayne, of Cleveland and Keri Larson and husband, Tommy of Costa Mesa, Calif.; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and special sister-in-law, Glenda Lea and husband, Edward, of Benton.
A private graveside service was held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.
