Waterville Baptist Church will host a “Rally for Puerto Rico” Sunday from noon to 3 p.m., to help Puerto Rico in its recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Marie.
The event will be held in the church’s Family Center, 3722 Dalton Pike S.E. The community is urged to join in the efforts to help this devastated United States territory.
Puerto Rican food sale will include rice and beans, rostisserie Caribbean chicken, pasta, salad and so forth. Enjoy Caribbean music and videos during the rally.
Items needed are non-perishable food warm weather clothing and other miscellaneous items, including hygiene products, diapers, toilet tissue, toothpaste and toothbrushes, body lotion, soap, shampoo, flashlights and first-aid kits.
