Worth 'Stanley' Peels

Worth “Stanley” Peels, 72, a retired employee of Newell Rubbermaid, passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lorene; brother, Eugene Peels; and sister, Regena Headrick. 

He leaves behind his children: Keith and Cindy Peels, Sonya and Steve Smith, Melea Peels of Cleveland, and Scottie and Loucretia Peels of Benton; siblings: William and Clara Peels, Wilda Harden, Danny and Sylvia Peels, Ginger Peels, Chuck and Charlotte Peels; grandchildren: Dustin Johnson, Josh Peels, Colton Peels, Emily Carrington, Holly Peels, Savannah Clark, Braiden Davis; and great-grandchildren: Cole, Kylie, Gracie, and Gunner Carrington and Greyson Clark. 

Pallbearers will be Dustin Johnson, Jeremy Peels, Josh Peels, Jason Harden, James Headrick, Wesley Headrick. Honorary pallbearer is Terry Dalton. 

The family will receive friends today, from 4 until 8 p.m., at New Liberty Baptist Church, 940 King Street S.E. Cleveland. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the church on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Chuck Peels officiating. Internment will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
