The engagement of Whitney Barton to Todd Stevison, both of Cleveland, is announced by the mother of the bride-elect, Brenda Barton of Cleveland.

The couple plan to wed in a 2:30 ceremony on March 19, 2011, at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church, where they are both members.

Miss Barton is also the daughter of David Barton. She is the granddaughter of Loraine and Joe Moman of Rome, Ga., Sylvia Barton of Rome and the late Donald Barton. She is the sister of Ashley Cooke and Brett Barton, both of Cleveland.

Miss Barton is a graduate of Walker Valley High School and attends Cleveland State Community College. She is employed by Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.

The future bridegroom is the son of Carolyn and Gary Stevison of Cleveland. He is the grandson of the late Ruby and Spence Stevison, Leona Watson of Cleveland and the late Joe Watson.

Mr. Stevison is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and Lee University. He is employed by Bradley County schools (Bradley Central High School).
