She was the daughter of the late Lorene Everhart Hamby and Hoyt Hamby. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Christine Hicks; brother, Joe Hamby; sister-in-law, Elaine Hamby; and brother-in-law, Frank Collier.
She was employed with Flowers Bakery for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and cooking.
She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her son, Roy Sizemore and his wife, Nancy, of Brooksville, Fla.; daughters: Bridget Ensley of McDonald and Johanna Pugh of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her companion, Raymond “R.C.” Clonce of McDonald; brother, Harold Hamby of Brooksville; sister, Shirley Collier of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Joe Brooks officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, which is in charge of the cremations service.
