The social begins at 2 p.m. with snacks. The meeting will be called to order at 2:30 p.m.
Guest speaker will be Larry McDaris, director of the local Veteran’s Administration Office.
McDaris spent 21 years in the U.S. Army. He served this country during two wars: the Korea Conflict and Vietnam War.
“We honor our veterans and thank them for their service, their courage, and their time spent in helping keep America safe and free,” a spokesman said.
Chapter President John Cassidy invites all AARP members and welcomes all local seniors in the Cleveland/Bradley County area to come out and be with us for our monthly meetings always held the first Thursday of each month.
