He was the son of the late James Admiral Dewey White and Callie Crumley White.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Carroll White and John Orr.
He was a carpenter by trade.
Survivors include sons: Shane White and Joseph White of Chattanooga, and James White, Jason White, Jeff White and Gene White of Cleveland; a daughter, Janice Willis of Cleveland; and several grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel.
