She was of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Johnny Grissom and Eliza McCormick Grissom; three sisters; and seven brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Neva Floyd of Ocoee; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters: Barbara Bishop of Decatur and Judy Gentry of Charleston; four brothers: Lloyd ‘Peanut’ Grissom of Cleveland, James Grissom and J.C. Grissom, both of Decatur, and William McCormick of Cleveland.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Revs. Josh Taylor and Ray Cheatham officiating.
Interment will follow in Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
