He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed attending all the local churches.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lula Mae Rymer; son, Eugene Rymer; grandson, Dorsey Debity, all of Tellico Plains; sisters: Betty Gay and Nelline Talley of Reliance; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mildred and Jim Osborne of Madisonville, and Nola and Dale McKenzie of Cleveland; and brother and sister-in-law: Bennie and Mary Rymer of Reliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Cal and Mae Rymer; brothers: Arlien and Delmon Rymer; and brothers-in-law: Charles Talley and Wayne Gay.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Rural Vale Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Walker and Steve Dills officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
