CMS wins in Lenoir City

The Cleveland Middle School junior varsity Lady Raiders defeated Lenoir City Middle 41-25 to win the Lenoir City Classic last weekend.

After a slow first quarter, CMS rallied to outscore LCMS 36-20 for the remaining three quarters. Taelor Hill led all scorers with 10 points, Shawnia Anderson scored eight and brought down nine rebounds. Kat Alomar netted seven points, Gabby Saliba tossed in four and Kellee Geren added three. Julia Gaither, Hannah Claudio, Madelyn Fleming, and Brina Lovelace all got into the books, scoring two points.

The Lady Raiders are 3-0 and their next opponent will be Girls Preparatory School.
