United Christian Church has announced its new pastor, the Rev. Greg Casto, and his wife, Terri.

Sunday is Casto’s first Sunday at 11 a.m. as pastor.

The congregation invites “ all our friends to come and celebrate this occasion.”

Immediately following the morning service, everyone will adjourn to the fellowship hall to share a Thanksgiving dinner together.

Casto said his “heart and calling is to take the anointed Word of God to the lost and hurting people of Cleveland, Tenn., the U.S. and the world with a message of faith so that people may be saved, healed and delivered in Jesus Christ’s name.”

Casto preaches with conviction the uncompromised Word of God.

Casto was called to minister the Word of God through preaching when he was 13. His love for gospel music and his signature vocals, were soon recognized and doors opened for him to sing with many legendary Southern Gospel groups.

His voice has won awards such as Lead Singer of the Year and Musician of the Year.”

By the age of 27, God had expanded his vision, Casto said.

Over the next 17 years, Casto planted three churches in West Virginia. He led him to Cleveland,to work alongside Dr. T. L. Lowery.

Burning with Pentecostal passion for the lost, Casto said he began to hear the call of the nations and responded by traveling around the world preaching to hundreds of thousands of hungry souls.

Television had now become a part of his ministry including appearances on TBN and other major Christian networks.

The calling of God on his life led Casto to Pasadena, Texas, and the Spirit Life Church of God where he served as senior pastor.
