Honored for their efforts this season were, from left, Jenna Stewart (Best Defensive Player, All Region), Devon Vaughn (Academic Award, Raider Award), Coach Andy Byrd, Kaitlyn Poulakis (Best Offensive Player, All Region), Coach Michelle McMahan, Katelyn McChesney (Co-Most Valuable Player, All Region, and Region Defensive Player of the Year), Coach John Brose, and Alison Simpson (Co-Most Valuable Player, All Region).
The Cleveland High School girls soccer team recently held its postseason banquet and handed out individual awards. The Lady Raiders finished the season at 13-9-2, falling to Murfreesboro Oakland just one game away from the state tournament.
