Patsy Stafford Ledford, 77, of Cleveland, entered into rest on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at her home.

Her many gifts included quilting, gardening, playing the piano, banjo, guitar, as well as many other instruments, all being self-taught. She was a beautiful nurturer and talented artist.

She was the daughter of the late Ruby Jewell Gates-Stafford and the late Ernest R. Stafford. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Michael Ledford; four brothers: John Stafford, Joe Stafford, Donald Stafford and Gary Stafford.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Ledford, of Cleveland; daughter, Nola Jayne Ledford-Spurlin and her spouse, Thad M. Spurlin, of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Crissy Ledford-Brooks and her spouse, Michael J. Brooks, of Groton, Conn.; one great-granddaughter, Chloé Ledford; two brothers: Jack Stafford and Ernest Stafford, all of Cleveland; three stepchildren: Joyce Ledford-Filyaw, Bobby Ledford of Ocoee and Leon Ledford of Georgetown; special friend, Kit Kat Ravin of El Paso, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Tony Cissom officiating.

Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Jason Ledford, Chris Ledford, Kenny Earls, Lee Stafford, Leon Ledford and Bobby Ledford will serve as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
