Good Hope Baptist Church of Decatur will be having its adult and children’s Christmas play at 7 p.m. Dec. 11.
“Please come and join as we celebrate the birth of our Lord,” a church spokesman said.
The church is also planning its annual New Year’s Singing on Dec. 31, starting at 8 p.m. Special guest will be Jim Ricketts and friends.
Work, Conn to be speakers for HHE
Jamie Work and Paul Conn will be the speakers this week for the His Hands Extended Devotionals.
Work will be speaking on Tuesday morning and Conn on Thursday.
The nondenominational devotionals are held from 7 to 7:30 a.m. at the Garden Plaza, 3500 Keith St. N.W.
The public is invited to attend.
Pastor Appreciation Day set at Smyrna Baptist
Pastor Appreciation Day will be held Sunday, 11 a.m., at Smyrna Baptist Church. There will be a special day of music, worship and praise led by Tye Crumley.
A meal will be served following the service.
The pastor is Jim Parm. The music director is Jerry Bear.
Praise Break set at Hawkinsville church
Praise Break 2010 will be presented Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church.
Featured will be Shaddai Ministries of Knoxville, Kimberly Thomas, Trent Williams and Ordained Praise, Greg Clay and Peculiar Praise, TNT Believers and the Spiritual Highlights.
