Phillip Lee Riddle, 49, of Old Fort, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in a local hospital.

He attended Valley View Baptist Church. He worked at Bradley Memorial Hospital and local health care facilities as a nurse for 25 years.

He was a licensed antique gun dealer and loved the outdoors and the mountains.

He was very proud of his Choctaw Native American heritage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Coleman Riddle; and daughter, Jessica Riddle.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Riddle of Old Fort; mother, Carolyn Riddle and dad, Joe Smartt; daughters: Racheal Riddle, Ramanda Riddle, Reanna Riddle, all of Cleveland; son, Randon Riddle, of Cleveland; stepchildren: Chelsea, Kaleb and Brittany; brothers: Coleman “Billy” Riddle, and Paul Riddle and wife, Stephanie, all of Cleveland; sister, Joy Benson and husband, Kenny, of Georgetown; special nieces: Stephanie Joy, Paula Ann, and Amber Fawn; and special nephew, Paul Andrew.

Memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Lee officiating.

His family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday prior to the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Riddle Memorial Fund for Riddle’s minor children, Southern Heritage Bank, 3020 Keith St., Cleveland, TN 37312.
