Yates Primary School teacher Richelle Shelton recently won the $50 O’Charley’s gift certificate for her energy efficient efforts during the Thanksgiving break. Prior to the break, Shelton turned off all the appliances and lights and lowered the thermostat in her class. Cleveland City Schools teachers were encouraged to take the “energy efficient challenge” prior to the holiday. Classes were inspected by the energy efficient specialist.
