Wanda Faye Ark, 75, of Georgetown, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, in a local health care facility.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vona Cawood Griffin and Ben Griffin Sr.; first husband, Jim Davis; second husband, Herman Ark; brother, Ben Griffin Jr.; and nephew, Mike Griffin.

She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Davis Holland and her husband, Jimmy, of Atlanta; sons: Jeff Davis and his wife, Jennie, of Cleveland and Doug Davis and his wife, Renee, of Cleveland; sister, Connie Forgey of Georgia; brother, Bobby Griffin and his wife, Jackie, of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Lucy Griffin of Cleveland; grandchildren: Ben Davis and his wife, Tracey, James Davis, Casey Davis and Sarah Pendergrass and her husband, Cody; a special cousin, Sue Denton; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony McClanahan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Ben Davis, James Davis, Casey Davis, Gary Griffin, Barry Griffin and Manuel Smith serving as pallbearers.

The family requests memorials be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 188 Old Georgetown Road N.W., Cleveland, TN 37312.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
