She was of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Bishop; and brother, William Bishop.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ernest Davis of Ooltewah; son, Ernest Davis II of Ooltewah; daughters: Mary Ellen Wilson and husband, Allen, of Cleveland, and Patricia Harper and husband, Mark, of Ooltewah; seven grandchildren; mother, Mary Bishop of Georgetown; sisters: Betty Wilbanks of Jasper and Nolie Davis of Georgetown; brothers: Joel Bishop, Ed Bishop, George Bishop, Cecil Bishop and Joe Bishop, all of Georgetown, Steve Bishop of Hixson, and Allen Bishop of Dalton, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Revs. Ronnie Davis and David Hooper officiating.
Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery in Georgetown with Ernest Davis II, Steve Bishop, Steven Bishop, Chris Bishop, Paul Bishop, Micheal Harper, Jo Lee Bishop and Sonny Lee Davis serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today and Wednesday at the funeral home.
