He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a very loving husband, father and brother. He enjoyed traveling and taking care of his beloved pets, Shelby and Dusty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Geneva Zanker; and sister, Gloria M. Thompson.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Zanker, of Cleveland; daughters: Tina Dunsmore, Agena Henderson and husband, Dennis, Rebecca Dill, Natalie Shelton, Melissa Schafer and husband Joe, Jesica Zanker, and Aleasha Wallace and her husband, Matthew; 12 grandchildren; one special grandson, Maxwell “Max” Pryor; one great-granddaughter, Haleena who loved her “Poppy;” sisters: Elizabeth Bartlett and Barbara Erwin and her husband, Merritt; a brother, Donald “Sonny” Zanker Jr. and his wife, Norma; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
