He was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.
He was dearly loved by his family. He was a big Tennessee Vols fan and enjoyed fishing and bird hunting.
He was retired from Cooke Manufacturing Co., where he was plant manager for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Douglas Seaborn; parents, Oscar and Pearl Seaborn; brothers: James Seaborn and T.L. Seaborn; and grandson, Jeremy McRae.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Cliff McRae of Perryville, Ky.; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Donna Seaborn of Cleveland; grandchildren: Jared Seaborn of Cleveland, Tiffany McRae of Dayton and Tyler McRae of Dayton; great-grandchild, Lexie Taylor of Dayton; brother, Emmett Seaborn and wife, Joann, of Signal Mountain; sister-in-law, Becky Seaborn of Cleveland; brothers-in-law: Kenneth and wife Beulah Douglas, Harry Lee and wife Delores Douglas, all of Cleveland; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. James Vaughn officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Billy West, Kenny West, Mark Beaty, Tyler McRae, Lynn Allen and Kevin Douglas serving as pallbearers. Leonard Torbett, Kenneth Douglas and Ed Caldwell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5a to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home.
