She was employed with Hardwick Clothes for 25 years.
She was of the Church of God faith and was a Christian since age 10.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph E. Davis; maternal grandparents, Chester and Maggie Payne; paternal grandparents, Martin and Mamie Davis; brother, Danny E. Davis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lester and Myrtie Brogden; and brother-in-law, Johnny L. Brogden.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert (Bob) Brogden; mother, Eleace Davis; brother, Ricky A. Davis; sisters: Sherry Sines and husband, Randy, and Lisa Williams; and sisters-in-law: Diane Brogden and Diane Davis.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Payne officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with Tyler Davis, Eric Harris, Jake Harris, Chad Sines, Shawn Carter and Daniel Hesson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Waters and Forrest Cronan.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
