1st baby gets gift set for ’11

The first baby in Bradley County during 2011 will receive a shower of gifts to pamper and hail its birth.

Among the items awaiting the new baby and its parents are a $50 gift certificate from Cooke’s Food Store; a $50 gift certificate and a “It’s a Boy or Girl” Beanie Baby from Cherokee Pharmacy; a dozen glazed doughnuts from the Village Bake Shop; a baby’s first gift item from Epperson’s Inc.; a first-year Memory Book from Sara’s Hallmark; and either two breakfast or dinner combo meals from The Chef.

The first baby will also receive a newborn baby gift basket ($75 value) from The Baby Place; a 14-karat gold baby ring from Coy’s Jewelers; and an Oneida Deluxe, three-piece stainless silverware set, teddy bear, bib, sippy cup, basket of lotions and a basket of pampering items for mom from Reba Garrison, State Farm Insurance.
