Adults are sought who want to sing or dance either as an individual or as a group. Vocalists and dance performers must have their own music on CD and audition with two selections. Bands are welcome to audition. The age of participants is 21 years and older.
The theme of the showcase is “A Night at the Gem.”
“The annual youth showcase has become such a tradition for our community that we feel it is time to expand to include the adult community, says LaMone Rose. Rose and Ruth Sowers will be directors for the showcase.
The showcase is not a competition and is just for the enjoyment of performing on stage. “We would like to see entertainers from our surrounding areas perform in this showcase,” says Sowers. Rehearsals are scheduled before the opening dates. Admission is $8 per person.
