Coach Eric Phillips’ Raiders had little opposition in the confrontation, scoring four consecutive pins at the start of the match from Brandon Strickland (130), Marvin Lopez (135), Josh Hamilton (140) and Matt Heard (145).
Cleveland later receive pins from Jesse Jones, Austin Stevison and Austin Oliver and a major fall from Isaiah Nichols.
Charles Norwood received a forfeit at 152 pounds, Juan Bobe got a gift at 171 and Jordan Hines registered a forfeit at heavyweight (285). Decisions went to Seth Snyder at 215, Joel Simpkins (115) and Haden Hamilton (125).
The opening four pins provided the Raiders with a 24-0 edge and the Tornadoes were not able to break into the scoring column the rest of the way.
