The plan was to cover fundamentals of operation of systems and culminate in suggestions and recommendations for cutting operational costs.
The team of TTU students included three graduate students and one undergrad; all are engineering students.
Students from Walker Valley High School were selected through an application process and are all prospective engineers. Participating in practical engineering work, learning engineering concepts, and interacting with plant engineers and the TTU assessment team offered a valuable experience for WVHS calculus students.
