Frances Elaine Hackett passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, in Cleveland at SkyRidge Medical Center.

She was born to the late Catherine Craigmiles and Bill Hickey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Samuel and Louise Craigmiles; her husband, Walter Earl “Jim” Hackett; mother and father-in-law, Ernestine and Willus Hackett; brother, Stanley Hickey; aunt, Christine Craigmiles Taylor; uncle, Jack Whaley; and special cousins: Larry Craigmiles and James Taylor.

She was a graduate of College Hill High School class of 1960.

She was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America.

Survivors include her sisters: Beverly (Edward) Wells and Paulette Mee, both of Cleveland; brothers, William Monroe Hickey of Atlanta and Dwight (Nettie) Clemons of Spring Lake, N.C.; three aunts: Sammiretta Cragmiles Thompson and Wilma Cragmiles Blair, both of Cleveland, and Rebecca Ann (Richard) Powel of Boston; two uncles: John Craigmiles of Cleveland and Fred (Helen) Craigmiles of Chicago; sister-in-law, Barbara Osborne of Cleveland; her godchildren, Darian and Denzell Morrison; special cousins: Angela Blair, Vetta (Wayne) Stovall, Michael (Barbara Ann) Sharp and Jackie (Ken) Humes, all of Cleveland; a host of other godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Patton Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 151 Short Street S.E., Thursday, from 6 to 7 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, North Lee Highway. The Rev. Rhonda S. Westfield will officiate.
