BASEBALL

TENNESSEE WOLVES

TEAM EXPRESS MEETING

There will be an informational meeting Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. for any parent wishing to have their son try out for the 11-year-old Team Express baseball team. WV HITTING/ PITCHING CAMP

The Walker Valley Hitting and Pitching Camp will be held Feb. 6 and Feb. 13. Instruction will take place at Walker Valley High School’s hitting facility. Registration deadline has passed. The cost for participants is $100 for one camp, or $150 for two. Registration will also include a free T-shirt and an instructional DVD. Hitting session times will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 and 6 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. Pitching sessions are scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. to 5:45. LEE WOMEN’S CAMP

The Lee University Women’s Basketball Team Camp will be held June 16-18 for high school and junior high teams. The Marty Rowe Skills and Drills Individual Basketball Camp for girls ages 5-15 is slated for June 27-July 1. GIRLS AAU

Signups have begun for a sixth-grade girls AAU basketball team to be coached by Lee University head basketball coach Tommy Brown and former Lee University player and Atlantaarea high school coach Richie Hughes. The team will be composed of current sixth-grade girls. The team will play locally and travel to area tournaments. Tryouts will be open to all girls that are currently in the sixth grade. GIRLS SELECT TRYOUTS

Tryouts for girls select 16, 15, and 14-under soccer teams will be held Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Girls must be born between Aug. 1, 1993 and July 31,1996. Tyrout will be held at the Greater Cleveland Soccer Complex, located on Mouse Creek Rd. Players need to bring a soccer ball and dress appropriate for the weather.
