According to a report filed by deputy Andrew Coggin of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, David Patrick Gray Jr., 21, has been charged with traffic and narcotics violations.
Coggin performed the traffic stop and made contact with Gray. Coggin asked for his identification and Gray stated he didn’t have an ID or a driver’s license, then reportedly gave Coggin a name but could not provide his birthdate.

After learning his correct identity, Coggin was able to determine Gray’s driver’s license was suspended.

Gray had told the deputy he had no illegal drugs on his person, according to the report.
Another pill was located inside Gray’s vehicle and another on the ground outside. Other suspected drug paraphernalia was also discovered inside the vehicle’s glove box, according to the report.
