Hilt Yarber Jr., 64, a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 23, 2011, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hilt Yarber Sr.; grandson, Travis Ledford; brother, Sam Ballew; grandparents: Robert Yarber Sr. and Sally Yarber, William Dockery and Sara Dockery.

He retired from Bendix after 31 years as a supervisor. His life revolved around his family, and his passion was fishing with his kids and for years he was in a bowling league.

Survivors include mother, Margret Yarber; sons: Jason Yarber, Brian Yarber and Richard Yarber; daughter-in-law, Pam Yarber; and granddaughter, Heather Yarber, all of Cleveland, sisters: Roxanne Ballew of Niota, Dana Evans and her husband, Donny, of Cleveland: brothers: Lee Yarber and companion, Kathy Chord, of Cleveland, Donny Yarber of Cleveland and Danny Yarber and his wife, Betty, of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Ray Cheatham officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Lee Yarber, Donnie Evans, Luke Evans, Chuck Webb, Chris Yarber and Lamar Lively serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
