She was preceded in death by her father, Bernie R. McDonald; mother, Anna Genetta Swafford; daughter, Melissa Gaye McGuire; and brother, Roderick Allen McDonald.
She was survived by her husband, Leonard McGuire; daughter, Laura Swafford, both of Cleveland; and son, Glenn McGuire of Atlanta; grandchildren: Ashley Wattenbarger, Tyler Wattenbarger, Macy McGuire, and Cayden Maynard; sisters: Janice Williams of Niota, Deborah Williams of Cleveland, and Robin Hughes Morrison of Savannah, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Van Elkins officiating.
The body will be cremated.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday prior to the service from the funeral home.
