The Bradley County 4-H Sub-County Public Speaking Contests were held on Jan. 28 and Feb. 18 at Cleveland State Community College. Fourth- and fifth-grade speech winners from 4-H clubs in the Bradley County School System competed in the contest. Winners from these two contests advanced to the County 4-H Public Speaking Contest held on Feb. 20 at Cleveland State Community College. The Kiwanis Club of Cleveland sponsors this contest by furnishing ribbons and trophies. Members of the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland also served as judges.
