The Bradley County Board of Education met with state Rep. Eric Watson during the Day on the Hill in Nashville on Feb. 22. During the Day on the Hill event, Watson met with board members in his office in the War Memorial Building to discuss important legislation supporting First to the Top education reform in Tennessee.

Watson is a very strong supporter of education for the children of Bradley County. Board members discussed the need for fully funding education, including Coordinated School Health and extended contracts in addition to Basic Education Program funding.

Another item of importance to members of the Bradley County BOE is keeping legislation in place for appointed superintendents.
